July’s 2023 Summa Magazine edition was dedicated to Special 350: Who is Who in the region’s business? 350 leaders who inspire. Ángela Fernández, co-founder and current General Manager of BiCon – Inteligencia y Estrategia de Negocios, S.A., was included in the list.
Fernández, who has studied Law and International Relations, and has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) has coordinated -through a legal firm- the documentation and registration of all the methodologies, intellectual property, and other assets of BiCon Guatemala and Panama.
As part of BiCon’s executive management team, her role has been key in directing company policies, forging strategic alliances with business partners, and coordinating all corporate social responsibility initiatives.
“As a legacy, I hope to pass the baton to give continuity to the only Guatemalan management consulting company focused on the practice of Continuous Profitability Planning, which has managed to remain in the industry for more than 21 years, with growth and continued expansion; remaining in its values and giving its best effort in each project, to continue providing satisfactory results to our clients.”
– Ángela Fernández, Bicon’s cofounder and General Manager
Milestones
- Achieve the permanence of 95% of the client portfolio during the 21 years of existence of BiCon.
- Support BiCon’s stability and expansion with commercial partners in Mexico, the United States, London, and soon in Canada. Always promoting, favoring, and supervising commercial alliances.
- Manage in advance, without imagining the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic would have worldwide, that BiCon operated seamlessly during that time. As a matter of fact, during that time, BiCon was able to remain with all of its consultants and 2020 closed as one of the best years for the company.
